Swift 1.39 — Batch Statuses Now Match What You Expect

Written by Swift Product Team | Mar 19, 2026 9:00:00 PM

Statuses like "Processing" and "In Transit" never matched how you actually think about batches. This release fixes that — plus stops authorization volumes from zeroing out at the rack.

What's New

Batch, Reconsignment & PTO Statuses Renamed

Why this matters: The old status names ("Processing," "In Transit," "Shipped") didn't match industry terminology. You had to memorize what Swift meant vs. what everyone else means. Now they align.

Who it affects: All users working with Batches, Shipments, Distributions, Reconsignments, and PTOs.

Old Status New Status
Processing Scheduled
In Transit Open
Shipped Closed
  • Batches with a pending status and an Available Date >7 days out now show Needs Attention so they don't get lost.
  • Reconsignments waiting for a transfer date show Scheduled instead of sitting in limbo.
  • PTOs get a new Scheduled column for transactions waiting on a future transfer date.

Improvements

  • Restrictions no longer mirror automatically — Setting a restriction on a Customer Auth no longer creates a matching one on the Carrier Auth (or vice versa). Each record is independent now. Which restriction should I use? →
  • Link any destination to an LCN while editing — Previously you could only pick from a limited list on create. Now you can link any destination when editing a Customer Authorization.
  • Activate/Deactivate moved out of Edit drawer — Prevents conflicting saves. Use the grid action or ellipsis menu instead.
  • Remaining Volume now visible — Supplier Auths and My Auths with limited volumes show how much is left without opening the record.

Bug Fixes

  • Volumes no longer reset to 0 — Unlimited and Limited Supplier Authorizations were having remaining volumes zeroed out, causing loading errors at the rack. Fixed.
  • Products with '%' in the name no longer crash My Authorizations.
  • Create drawers open correctly after bulk toggle — Previously broken after bulk on/off of Supplier Auths.
  • Status filter works in Authorization Sequencing.
  • Customer Auth list refreshes after activate/deactivate — No more stale status display.
